The concerts are held at 6:00 PM each night (US East Coast Time), and broadcast live around the world on the Internet at the time of the performance, as well as archived for viewing at anytime in the future.

A series of accordion concerts will be held at the Millennium Stage at the famed Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, during the 2007 CIA Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships. The 'Performing Arts for Everyone' on the Millennium Stage program is designed to introduce the Kennedy Center, and make music available from a variety of artists from around the world to all, by providing a performance open to the public and free of charge 365 days a year.

International Competition for Piano Accordion
International Competiion for Piano Accordion: Each contestant was required to perform an own choice program consisting of three (3) or more pieces including one from the Baroque era, one piece to be of a slower, lyrical style and one piece of a technical virtuosic style. It must contain at least one Original Work but transcriptions may also be used. Individual movements from cyclic works are acceptable. The playing time is between 15 and 20 minutes.

Luncheon Concert
The organizers put on a superb Lucheon Concert attracting ocwe 500 people. The attendees were treated to a rare non-governmental performance of the United States Army Strolling Strings featuring accordionist Manny Bobbenrieth.

The audience was captured by the beautiful melody of "Eleanor Rigby" as the string players positioned themselves amongst the tables so diners could enjoy the luxury of having a player beside them. Their program received a standing ovation so the group played as an encore "Orange Blossom" much to the delight of the audience.

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

Rosita Lee Showstoppers and Dancers and the North Shore Accordion Orchestra performed on the Millenium Stage at the prestigious Kennedy Centre. The Rosita Lee Showstoppers and Dancers began the concert followed by the NSAO who received a standing ovation for their performance. This concert is now online at the Kennedy Centre internet site.

CIA Reception hosted by Mauro Greco, husband of the late Maddalena Belfiore
Mauro Greco, husband of the late Maddalena Belfiore, hosted a reception for CIA Delegates, Juries and others. Maddalena was a longtime officer and supporter in the CIA, and most in attendance were delighted to raise their glasses honor of the wonderful memories that had all been shared with her.

Evening Virtuoso Entertainment Competition and Concert
The concert opened with a performance by the University of Missouri Community Accordion Orchestra under the direction of Joan C. Sommers. Many alumni members of the UMKC Accordion Orchestra joined the group for the trip to Washington DC.
 
The concert continued with the candidates from the International Competition for Entertainment Music performing Round 1 of their program.
