Glasgow has two
airports, Glasgow International and Glasgow Prestwick.
The Normandy Hotel is situated in Paisley. The best airport is Glasgow
International which is only minutes away and for which we have arranged
a courtesy Bus from the hotel to pick you up on arrival.
Many international airlines including some low cost airlines fly into
both Glasgow International and Glasgow Prestwick Airports. For Arrivals
into Glasgow Prestwick you may travel to the Hotel either by Train or
Bus.
By Train
Glasgow Prestwick International is the only airport in Scotland served
by its own railway station. The station, which is just 80 metres from
the check-in desks, is connected to the airport by an enclosed skywalk.
Trains operate every 30 minutes (hourly on a Sunday) to Glasgow Central
Station journey time is 44 minutes. Taxis are available outside the
Railway Station which is about 5 minutes travel time and less than £
5.00.

By Bus
Glasgow Prestwick Airport is served by Stagecoach Western Express Service
X77 service to/from Glasgow Buchanan Street Station, this is a direct
service which stops outside the airport concourse. Operating hourly
from 08:33 until 19:33. (every 30 minutes at peak times from 07:13-08:13)
Journey time is 50 minutes. Taxis are available outside the Glasgow
Central Station.

Driving
Take exit
M8 at junction 28 and follow the one way system past the airport terminal
building. Drive straight on at the first roundabout and turn left at
the next roundabout signposted for Paisley/Renfrew. Take a left at the
next roundabout. Go straight on to the traffic lights before turning
right. The hotel is on the immediate left.
