Round III of the 67th Coupe Mondiale
|
A highlight of the festival always the final round of the senior classical division, the Coupe Mondiale. Each candidate must present a program as follows:
- Own Choice program consisting of three (3) or more pieces of different
style and character.
- A
minimum of two (2) different composers
- A Polyphonic (contrapuntal) work must be included in this round. Example: Any Fuga, Invention, Canon from Baroque, Classical, Romantic,
Contemporary etc... periods.
- Playing
time: minimum 20 minutes to maximum 30 minutes.

Prize Presentation to Candidates

The Gala Prize Giving Concert concluded the 67th Coupe Mondiale festival. Trophies and Cash prizes were awarded to the top three winners from each category. In addition to the competition prizes, several awards for services to the accordion were presented. The concert featured performances by the youth accordion orchestra MUSIKUM-Orchestra Salzburg, the winners from each of the competitions, concluding with the magnificent World Accordion Orchestra VIII. |
