- A program consisting of three (3) or more pieces of different style and character.
- A Polyphonic (contrapuntal) work must be included in this round.
- At least one piece must be an original work for the accordion.
- Playing time: a suggested minimum 20 minutes to maximum 30 minutes.

CIA CONGRESS Session 2 at Castelfidardo City Hall “Salone degli Stemmi”
|
The Closing session of the 152nd Congress was held at the Salen degli Stemmi in the Castelfidardo, City Hall. Items of business included the adoption of the CIA Statutes with the European Union. Necessary to meet requirements of the EU law, the CIA will still operate by a more detailed internal set of bylaws, but the EU filing designates necessary steps to adhere to current procedure.
Several presentations were given for upcoming events including the Winter Congress (Plovdiv, Bulgaria) and Coupe Mondiale (East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina), the Coupe Mondiale 2026 in Stockholm, Sweden and the acceptance of the Coupe Mondiale 2027 (80th Coupe Mondiale) to be held in Switzerland.
The meeting was adjourned till February 28th when the CIA will hold their 253rd General Assembly of Delegates in Plovdiv, Bulgaira, hosted by The Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts.
