- IMPORTANT: Program requirements for the International Competition for Virtuoso Entertainment Music have changed - please check the new rules.
- There
is no limit of numbers of candidates from each country.
- Candidates
up to 32 years of age are allowed to enter the competition - year
of birth: born 1990 or later.
- All entrants
are required to provide proof of age and nationality (Passport) when
they register at the Coupe Mondiale.
- This category
is for ONE (1) performer only.

- All programs will be checked by the national CIA voting or premier voting member and are subject to approval by the CIA Music Committee.
- The candidate is responsible for their competition program and obeying the rules.
- A contestant photo should be sent along with the entry. Please see this informational page about the requested format for the picture.
- Each round must be played in one sitting.
- Competitors must present themselves as artists to an audience; presentation, dress and stagecraft all being important.

- There will be two
(2) rounds. Each piece may be played only once during the CIA Competition.

Round 1
|
- OWN CHOICE PROGRAM:
Own Choice Program consisting of at least two (2) pieces of different
styles and moods.
- Playing time: maximum
9 minutes.

Round 2
|
- OWN CHOICE PROGRAM:
Own Choice Program consisting of at least two (2) pieces of different
styles and moods.
- One (1) of these pieces must be a transcription (arrangement) of a work that is not written for accordion.
- Playing time: maximum
9 minutes.

- Cash Prizes
- All
candidates will receive a Diploma of Participation.
- National member associations are requested to offer concerts or a tour for the 1st Prize Winners.
- All
winners must be present in person at the Awards Ceremony in appropriate
attire suitable for press coverage and publicity appearances. In case
of absence, the prize may be accepted by a delegate of their country
or the Diplomas will be mailed by the Secretariat.
