On behalf of the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA), welcome to the 72nd Coupe Mondiale and the 142nd CIA International General Assembly of Delegates Congress in Shenzhen, China.
 
The event will be hosted by the CIA member The Accordion Association of Chinese Musicians' Association (CAA) from th 12-17 August, 2019.
 
The generous suport of the Government has afforded the opportunity to award 50 contestant subsidies towards airfare and free room and board.
   
The festival will feature competitions as follows:

• 72nd Coupe Mondiale
• Masters Coupe Mondiale
• Junior Coupe Mondiale
• International Competition for Virtuoso Entertainment Music
• Junior International Competition for Virtuoso Entertainment Music
• Chamber Music - Classical
• Chamber Music - World Music
 
The Coupe Mondiale competitions will be held in the magnificent Xixiang Music Valley Concert Hall, a state of the art facility that offers the finest acoustics and features multiple Concert Halls and contestant practice studios.

Thanks to generous support from our Government, we are pleased to be able to support our young Contestants by offering 42,000 Euro in Cash Prizes as well as subsidies towards airfares and accommodations!
