Gala-Concert “Stars of Russia”
“Accordion Plus” show. Traditions and modern bayan, the best numbers from the concerts of the “Accordion Plus” show are the main idea of the concert. The leading popular musicians and ensembles from different towns and cities of Russia will join forces in order to present bayan backing, bayan solo, bayan and ensemble, bayan and orchestra. You will hear: "Siberian Duet", "Lipetsk trio", Nazaretov musical school Jazz band, "New Centripezn", Yuri Shishkin, Alexander Poeluev as well as the performance of a famous athlete Y. Alehin with accordion, circus studio "Rian" and many others! |

I - Test Round Section |
The candidate must perform the 2015 Test
Round consisting of the following three (3) pieces:
- Any Baroque work.
- Own Choice Program: The candidate must
select a program consisting of two (2) pieces, one piece to be of
a slower, lyrical style and the other piece to be of a technical
virtuosic style. At least one (1) of these Own Choice
pieces must be an original work for accordion.
- A
Single movement from a cyclic works is acceptable, however a maximum
of only one movement from any cyclic work will be accepted. Playing time for Round I: maximum 20
minutes.
Round I music must be played in one sitting
and may be played in any order. |

work. (Repeats in Baroque compositions are not required.)
- Own Choice Program:
The candidate must select a program consisting of two (2) pieces,
one piece to be of a slower, lyrical style and the other piece to
be of a technical virtuosic style. At least one (1) of these

- A minimum of
two (2) different Composers
- Single movements
from cyclic works are acceptable, however a maximum of one movement
of any cyclic work shall be selected. Playing time for Round I: maximum of 15 minutes.
Round I music must be played in one sitting and may be played in any
order.

International Competition for Chamber Music - World Music |
- For two (2) to five (5) musicians in any formation, minimum one acoustic accordion (e.g., can be multiple accordions, or accordions with other instruments).
- World Music Ensemble is for all acoustic and electronic instruments but the candidates must provide their own equipment. A piano tuned at A 442 will be provided by the organisers
- Own Choice Program of concert music consisting of at least two (2) pieces with contrasting style.
- Marking will take into consideration program choice, level of playing and ensemble work.
- Maximum playing time: 20 minutes
- All music must be performed live, no pre recorded or backing tracks will be allowed.
- Each contestant has a maximum set up time of 5 minutes.
