General Eligibility - Junior Coupe Mondiale, 2007
  • There is no limit of numbers of candidates from each country.
  • Candidates up to 18 years of age are allowed to enter the competition - year of birth: born 1989 or later. All entrants are required to provide proof of age and nationality (Passport) when they register at the Coupe Mondiale.

Candidates Program - Junior Coupe Mondiale, 2007
  • There will be two (2) rounds and only two (2) pieces are allowed to be performed in each round.
Round I - Test Program
  • TEST PROGRAM: Two (2) pieces must be played which must include one original work for accordion and one Baroque work written for harpsichord/clavichord.
  • Playing time: minimum 10 minutes to maximum 15 minutes playing time. Failure to observe minimum or maximum playing time will result in a mark penalty.
Round II - Own Choice Program
  • OWN CHOICE PROGRAM: Two (2) pieces must be played of which one must be an original work for accordion. Individual movements from cyclic works are acceptable.
  • Playing time: minimum 10 minutes to maximum 15 minutes playing time. Failure to observe minimum or maximum playing time will result in a mark penalty.
Prizes and Awards - Junior Coupe Mondiale, 2007
  
1st Prize: US $1,500.00
2nd Prize: US $800.00
3rd Prize: US $500.00
   
  • All candidates will receive a Diploma of Participation.
  • Live webcast performance at the famed Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Millennium Stage in Washington DC on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 6:00 PM.
  • National member associations are requested to offer concerts or a tour for the 1st Prize Winners.
  • All winners must be present in person at the Awards Ceremony in appropriate attire suitable for press coverage and publicity appearances. In case of absence, the prize may be accepted by a delegate of their country or the Diplomas will be mailed by the Secretariat.
