Three additional prizes were offered, including two concert tours. One to New Zealand, offered by the New Zealand Accordion Association; a tour to Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic, offered by the Methodical Centre of Accordion 'Marta Szokeová' (MCA); and the production of a CD recording offered by Intermusik. The recipient of all three prizes was the winner of the International Competition for Piano Accordion, Alexander Shirunov.

As part of the Coupe Mondiale, competitors were required to perform the new work by Portuguese composer Carlos Marecos, 'O Medo Do Ritmo'. Mr Marecos served as one of the jury members for this section of the competition and was impressed with the standard of the performances. CIA Music Committee Vice Chairperson Joan C. At the Awards Ceremony candidates received diplomas, prize money and trophies for each category, as well as members of the International Jury, International Delegates and Guests receiving diplomas signifying participation in the 2005 Coupe Mondiale.

The recipient of all three prizes was the winner of the International Competition for Piano Accordion, Alexander Shirunov. The Closing Concert featured each of the winners from the Coupe Mondiale as well as the 2005 Honorary Vice President Paolo Ferreira performing his own composition 'Improvisata' with the String Orchestra Esart Ensemble, directed by Cesario Costa, and the popular group Lusotango.

The 59th Coupe Mondiale will be held in Asker, (Oslo) Norway from October 18th - 22nd 2006.

Trois prix additionnels ont été offerts, y compris deux tours de concert. Un en Nouvelle Zélande, offert par l'association d'accordéon de la Nouvelle Zélande ; un tour en Slovaquie, en Hongrie et la République Tchèque, offert par le centre méthodique du ` Marta Szokeová d'accordéon '(MCM) ; et la production d'un enregistrement de CD offert par Intermusik. Le 59eme Coupe Mondiale se deroulerà à Asker, (Oslo) Norvege du 18 - 22 Octobre from 2006.

Die Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) feierte ihren 70. Geburtstag in Castelo Branco, Portugal. Das Treffen fand aufgrund ihrer 114. Generalversammlung der Abgeordneten und des 58. Coupe Mondiale's statt. Organisiert wurde die Veranstaltung vom CIA Mitglied Carlos Semedo und unterstützt durch das Conservatório Regional de Castelo Branco, lockte der 58. Coupe Mondiale Menschen aus Australien, Neuseeland, Russland, Skandinavien und vielen anderen Ländern der EU an.

Drei zusätzliche Preise wurden angeboten; zwei Konzerttouren und eine CD- Produktion. Von den Reisen ging eine nach Neuseeland (diese wurde von der Akkordeonvereinigung aus Neuseeland angeboten) und eine Tour in die Slowakei, Ungarn und die Tschechische Republik (diese wurde vom Methodical Centre of Accordion "Marta Szokeová" (MCA) angeboten.

Die Aufnahme der CD wurde von der Intermusik angeboten. Der Empfänger aller drei Preise war der Gewinner des Internationalen Wettbewerbes für Tastenakkordeon, Alexander Shirunov. Beim einem Teil des Coupe Mondiales mussten die Wettbewerber die neue Arbeit "O Medo do Ritmo" des portugiesischen Komponist Carlos Marecos aufführen. Herr Mareco war eines der Jurymitglieder in diesem Teil des Wettbewerbs und war sehr beeindruckt von den Vorführungen.

An der Zeremonie des Awards bekamen die Kandidaten Diplome, Preise, Geld und Trophäen in jeder Kategorie. Ebenfalls bekamen die Mitglieder der internationalen Jury, der internationalen Abgeordneten und Gäste, verschiedene Diplome, die die Teilnahme am Coupe Mondiale 2005 bestätigen. Am Abschlusskonzert traten alle Gewinner des Coupe Mondiale 2005 sowie der ehrenamtliche Vizepräsident Paolo Ferreira nochmals auf. Paolo Ferreira spielte seine Eigenkomposition

"Improvisata" mit dem String Orchestra Esart Ensemble, welches von Cesario Costa geleitet wird, und mit der bekannten Gruppe Lusotango vor. Die Gewinner des Coupe Mondiale 2005 war Rade Miljatovic aus Serbien und Montenegro. Als Schüler von Miljan Bjetelic gewann Rade früher Junior Coupe Mondiale.

La Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) ha celebrato il 4 Novembre, il 70° compleanno, la 114° Assemblea Generale dei Delegati ed il 58° Couple Mondial in Castelo Branco, Portogallo. La manifestazione è stata organizzata dal sig. Carlos Semedo membro CIA ed ospitata dal Conservatório Regional de Castelo Branco. I concorrenti che hanno partecipato provenivano da varie parti del mondo come Australia, Nuova Zelanda, Russia, Scandinavia e tanti paesi dell' Europa.

Il 5° giorno del Festival è iniziato con un banchetto gala nel quale sono stati onorati alcuni ospiti. Si sono esibiti artisti come: Gonçalo Pescada e Natália Ryabova, il campione 2004 del Coupe Mondiale CIA sig. Alexander Selivanov dalla Russia, il vincitore 2002 del CIA Virtuoso Entertainment dal Portogallo João Frade con il suo Trio. Il brano d'obbligo di questo anno era un nuovo lavoro del compositore Portoghese Carlos Marecos dal titolo 'O Medo Do Ritmo'.

Oltre ai diplomi e premi sono stati offerti 3 premi speciali 2 dei quali offrono la possibilità di fare 2 tour di concerti. Un tour in Nuova Zelanda ed Australia offerto dalla New Zealand Accordion Association; ed un tour in Slovacchia, Ungheria, Repubblica Ceca offerto dal Methodical Centre of Accordion 'Marta Szokeová' (MCA) ed infine la produzione di un CD offerto dalla Intermusik. La Confederación Internacional de Acordeonistas (CIA) ha celebrado su 70 aniversario durante un encuentro en Castelo Branco, Portugal, organizando su 114 Asamblea General de Delegados y la 58 Coupe Mondiale. Organizada por el miembro de la CIA Carlos Semedo y acogida en el Conservatorio Reginal de Castelo Branco, la 58 Coupe Mondial atrajo participantes de países tan lejanos como Australia, Nueva Zelanda, Rusia, Escandinavia y muchos otros países europeos.

Se ofrecías tres premios más, incluyendo dos giras de conciertos. Una en Nueva Zelanda, ofrecida por la Asociación de Acordeón de Nueva Zelanda y una gira por Eslovaquia, Hungría y República Checa ofrecida por el Centro Metódico de Acordeón "Marta Szokeoya" (MCA) y la producción de una grabación en CD ofrecida por Intermusik.

El agraciado con los tres premios fue el ganador del Concurso Internacional de Acordeón Piano, Alexander Shirunov. El ganador de la Coupe Mondiale 2005 fue Rade Miljatovic, de Serbia-Montenegro. Un estudiante de Miljan Bjeletic y ganador anteriormente de la Coupe Mondiale Junior.

The 58th Coupe Mondiale in Castelo Branco will open on October 24th with a pre-festival concert featuring DANÇAS OCULTAS, with the official opening concert on Tuesday evening featuring 2002 CIA Virtuoso Entertainment Champion from Portugal - João Frade and his Trio, the 2004 Coupe Mondiale Champion Alexander Selivanov from Russia, and accordion and piano duo, Gonçalo Pescada and Natália Ryabova. The festival will conclude on October 29th, with the closing concert featuring winners from the 6 Coupe Mondiale categories, the Lusotango Quintet and the Esart Ensemble featuring Portuguese accordionist Paulo Jorge Ferreira.

Organized by the CIA member the Conservatorio Regional de Castelo Branco, this is the first time the Coupe Mondiale has been held in Portugal. Since its inception in 1938, the Coupe Mondiale International Competition for Accordionists has established itself as one of the world's most important accordion events, and this year has attracted almost 170 contestants and delegates from 27 countries, who will take part in the various competitions and 114th General Assembly meeting.

The City of Castelo Branco in Portugal is about to open its door to the world, when the finest accordionists including delegates, international jury, contestants and distinguished visitors from around the world will convene for the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) 58th Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships and 114th General Assembly of Delegates from October 25-30, 2005.

At a recent Press Conference in Castelo Branco, members of the Press met with the President of the Local Council, Mr. Joquin Morão, the 2005 CIA Honorary Vice President and Artistic Councillor Mr. Paulo Ferreira, 2005 Coupe Mondiale Organizer, Mr. Carlos Semedo, and CIA President Kevin Friedrich as they discussed the exciting plans for the Coupe Mondiale, which will be hosted by CIA member - Conservatorio Regional de Castelo Branco. Since its inception in 1938, the CIA Coupe Mondiale has established itself as one of the most important accordion events. The CIA is excited to be in Portugal for the very first time as they celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the CIA.

The 2005 Coupe Mondiale offers six categories including Coupe Mondiale, Junior Coupe Mondiale, International Competition for Piano Accordion, Virtuoso Entertainment, Junior Entertainment, and International Competition for Chamber Music. Lors d'une récente Conférence de Presse qui s'est déroulée à Castelo Branco, les membres de la Presse ont rencontré le Président du Conseil Local, Mr. Joquin Morão, le Vice-Président d'honneur CIA 2005 et Conseiller Artistique Mr. Paulo Ferreira, l'organisateur de la Coupe Mondiale 2005, Mr. Carlos Semedo, et le Président de la CIA Kevin Friedrich, et ont pu prendre connaissance des projets excitants pour la Coupe Mondiale, qui sera accueillie par le membre CIA - Conservatorio Regional de Castelo Branco.

Depuis son instauration en 1938, la Coupe Mondiale CIA est devenue l'un des évènements majeurs liés à l'accordéon. La CIA est ravie de venir au Portugal pour la toute première fois, et ceci à l'occasion de son 70ème Anniversaire. La Coupe Mondiale 2005 propose six catégories parmi lesquelles la Coupe Mondiale, la Coupe Mondiale Junior, le Concours International pour accordéon Piano, la Virtuoso Entertainment, la Junior Entertainment, et le Concours International pour Musique de Chambre.
