General Eligibility - International Ensemble-Chamber Music Competition, 2006
  • There is no limit of numbers of Ensemble-Chamber groups from each country.
  • There is no age limit for contestants entering this category.
  • All entrants are required to provide proof nationality (Passport) when they register at the Coupe Mondiale.

Own Choice Program
  • For two (2) to five (5) musicians, minimum one accordion (eg: can be multiple accordions, or accordions with other instruments).
  • Ensemble-Chamber Music competition is for acoustic instruments (no electronics).
  • Own choice program of concert music consisting of at least two (2) pieces with contrasting style.
  • The competition organizers will not provide instruments other than a piano tuned to A 441.
  • Playing time: minimum 15 minutes to maximum 20 minutes playing time. Failure to observe minimum or maximum playing time will result in a mark penalty.
  • Marking will take into consideration programme choice, level of playing and ensemble work.
Prizes and Awards - International Ensemble-Chamber Music Competition, 2006
  • All Chamber Ensembles (including each member) shall receive a Diploma of participation
  • 1st: € 800.00, 2nd: € 600.00, 3rd: € 400.00
  • National member associations are requested to offer concerts or a tour for the 1st Prize Winners.
  • All winners must be present in person at the awards ceremony in appropriate attire. In case of absence, the prize may be accepted by a delegate of their country. Diplomas will be mailed by the Secretariat.
