Choice Program |
- For
two (2) to five (5) musicians, minimum one accordion (eg: can be multiple accordions,
or accordions with other instruments).
- Ensemble-Chamber
Music competition is for acoustic instruments (no electronics).
- Own
choice program of concert music consisting of at least two (2) pieces with contrasting
style.
- The competition organizers
will not provide instruments other than a piano tuned to A 441.
- Playing
time: minimum 15 minutes to maximum 20 minutes playing time. Failure to observe
minimum or maximum playing time will result in a mark penalty.
- Marking
will take into consideration programme choice, level of playing and ensemble work.

| Prizes
and Awards - International Ensemble-Chamber Music Competition, 2006 |
- All
Chamber Ensembles (including each member) shall receive a Diploma of participation
- 1st:
€ 800.00, 2nd: € 600.00, 3rd: € 400.00
- National
member associations are requested to offer concerts or a tour for the 1st Prize
Winners.
- All
winners must be present in person at the awards ceremony in appropriate attire.
In case of absence, the prize may be accepted by a delegate of their country.
Diplomas will be mailed by the Secretariat.
