Sean Montgomery, Accordion Product Manager of Roland Europe Group Ltd has announced that Ludovic Beier (France) will perform at the Digital Accordion Concert organised as part of the 2017 Coupe Mondiale. Ludovic Beier was demonstrating the just released FR-8X version 2.5 software update with additional functions: - Support for the new FR-8x Editor; - 37 new orchestral sound taken from the FR-4X; - New keyboard layouts; - Various new parameters to give the player even more control of how the FR-8X can be programed / played live; - Various bug fixes. Manufacturers of digital accordions have been invited by the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) to contribute a performer for a concert of "expert and high level digital accordion performance". This concert will be presented to the public (and to the world by video broadcast) to demonstrate the very best of digital accordion music. Ludovic Beier learned the accordion from his father and benefits from being part of a musical family. He was brought up in the French tradition of the instrument and turned to jazz at young age. At a young age, Ludovic was already playing on the French, European and American scene with some of the top jazz players. Ludovic Beier has travelled extensively performing with many famous artists at many famous music festivals and international jazz venues as well as travelling to many parts of the world demonstrating the Roland digital accordion range. |

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Master Production, Director Antonella Toccaceli (picture right) is proud to release two new digital accordion models. One model has internal amplifier and battery and the other, digital only, weighs a mere 6 kilos. These two new instruments are going to be featured by Stefano Indino performing at the Digital Accordion Concert on Sunday 10th September at the end of the 2017 Coupe Mondiale. This concert will present to the public (and to the world by video broadcast) the very best of digital accordion music. Performing with Stefano Indino is percussionist Massimo Carrano. Since a young age, Stefano Indino has pursued a dual career, as a sound engineer, recording studio producer as well as accordion teacher, accordion entertainer. |

MusicTech Owners Claudio Sabbattini and Maria Rita Bartomeoli have announced that Paolo Miles will perform at the Digital Accordion Concert organised as part of the 2017 CoupeMondiale. Manufacturers of digital accordions have been invited by the Conf d ration Internationale des Accord onistes (CIA) to contribute a performer for a concert of "expert and high level digital accordion performance". This concert will be presented to the public (and to the world by video broadcast) to demonstrate the very best of digital accordion music. Paolo Miles graduated in Classic Accordion at the Niccol Piccinni Conservatory of Bari (Italy), under the guidance of Prof. Francesco Palazzo. He has an intensive performance schedule as a soloist and also as part of various chamber music and orchestral formations, both as an accordionist and bandoneonist, with successful results. His artistic career also includes collaborating with Katia Ricciarelli, the renowned soprano with whom he has recorded a CD with her Ensemble, and with whom he is currently touring Italy.
